James Lancaster Obituary

James Lawson Lancaster passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026 after his yearlong battle with cancer. Born December 21, 1946 growing up in Leiters Ford, Indiana. Later in life his career brought him and his family out to California. James’ retirement allowed him to enjoy his 10 acre almond ranch in Arbuckle, California where he has resided for the past 24 years. His main hobbies included hunting, fishing and gardening. James is survived by son Shane Lancaster and preceded in death by son Troy Lancaster. He enjoyed time with his grandkids Josh, Chandler and great grandkids. James recently celebrated 18 years of sobriety, and dedicated many years helping others on their sobriety journey.
