James Michael Whittaker known by Mike departed this life peacefully on February 15th, 2025 at age 72. Born in Wahington DC in 1952 He graduated from Norte Del Rio HS in Sacramento June 1970. Joined the US Navy June 1970. He served on the USS Enterprise. He retired as Senior Chief Aviaton Electronics Technician after 22 years of service. He drove Semi-truck for 5 years. Worked for Boeing Aerospace Military Contracts for 5 years, His Community Service included Boy Scout Master 5 years. Troop Committee Chairman 2 years. VFW Post Jr and Sr Vice Commander. Bible Scholar.
Mike is survived by his wife Laura, 6 Children: Christine (Edgie) Lucas, Lady Di (Mikel), Ranran (Jenalyn), Anselmo, Peter Paul, and15 grandchildren. We invite friends and family to honor the life of James Whittaker as we lay him to rest.

He was a loving partner, a devoted friend, and a cherished soul who touched the lives of many. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the memories we shared and the love he left behind. Forever loved, never forgotten.
