Janene was born April 10th,1968 in Carmichael California. She was the daughter of Irl Franklin & Jolene (Garner) Sinclair. She was the third child of 10 Siblings: Trek, Cassie, Shannon, Mika, Sky, Angelica, Heather, Franklin, Rob. She earned her GED from Roseville High School in Roseville California in 1986.
Janene married her husband Todd Andy Ellsworth on February 16th, 1991 at the Oakland Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. They were married 34 years and four months. She has 10 children: Neeman Hammer, Nicholas Hammer, Miles Ellsworth, Nelson Ellsworth, Madison (Hardwick) Ellsworth, Twins – Nadia & Morgan Ellsworth (Deceased), Mackenzie (Guin) Ellsworth, Nina Ellsworth, Spencer Ellsworth. She has 9 + (One due in September 2025) grandchildren: Reagan, Zoe, (Unnamed Daughter -Due 9/2025) – Nelson; Elliot, Hadley, Brielle, Kari-Anne – Madison; Dawson, Karter, Casey – Mackenzie.
Janene was outgoing and friendly. She was a beacon of love and made friends everywhere she went. She loved people and she was a wonderful wife and loved being a mother to her children, and a grandmother (Grammy) to her grandchildren. She enjoyed interacting with them whether it was in person, over the phone, video chats, texting, or good old snail mail. Some of the hobbies she enjoyed were dancing, singing, cooking, gardening, raising farm animals, drawing, painting, crochet, sewing, ceramics, crafting, watching movies, making jewelry, collecting memories, making friends, and traveling around the world and the United States of America.
Janene loved babies, including animal babies too. She loved interacting with little children. She always made motherhood look easy, she was so talented...and kind...and loving. Those that knew her can testify of her overflowing expression of love and compassion for her fellow man. Her home became the focal point of gathering family, friends, and stray teenagers that would come stay from time to time. If there was a mouth that needed feeding she was happy to share, need some clothes...she had something to give. When she was physically able to be of service...she went to work, always happily humming to herself as she worked. As her health began to deteriorate her husband Todd became her care provider and together they worked through life's adversities and setbacks together. She loved her family and friends and expressed that love in her words, and actions.
Janene was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Anyone that would like to come to her funeral or burial are welcome to come. We are all one big family and there is a plethora of love to share as we lay her earthly body to rest in the earth.
