Jeffrey Nofts Obituary

Jeffrey Dale Nofts, beloved husband, son, brother and friend, was born September 23, 1968 in Citrus Heights, California and passed away January 21, 2024 at the age of 55 after a 4 year battle with cancer.  He is survived by his parents, Dale Nofts and Billie McCorkhill.  Jeff was the youngest of 3 children including his sisters Vicky and Christine. He also leaves behind his wife, Dina, as well as his stepmother, Pat and stepsisters, Nikki and Tammy. His stepbrother, Steve, passed away shortly after he did.

Jeff and his wife, Dina, were together for 17 years and married for 9.  Their endearing love was palpable by those around them.  They had a beautiful love and life together with their family of pets, including their dog and multiple cats.  Jeff was a gentle man and an animal lover.  He took pride in caring for the wild birds and squirrels in the yard.  Together, Jeff and Dina loved to take trips to Lake Tahoe to snowboard and to the coast in Mendocino where they would enjoy playing golf, walks on the beach, romantic dinners and wine tasting.  Jeff and Dina also enjoyed eating out, watching movies, swimming in their pool, listening to music, going to concerts and working on home improvement projects.  Jeff was extremely skilled when it came to fixing and repairing anything.

Some of Jeff’s passions were football, music and cinema.  He attended dozens of concerts over the years including 80’s rock, which he loved, as well as a variety of other musicians and genres.   He especially loved science fiction movies. Some of his favorites were Harry Potter, Star Trek and vampire movies.  He regularly sited one liners from some of his favorite movies.

As a career, Jeff worked several years in sales before he ventured into becoming a business owner.  He started and maintained Sky Blue Pools Weekly Service and Repairs, a successful pool business, for over 16 years.  He had integrity and pride in the way he ran his business and had many loyal customers. After being notified of Jeff’s passing, several customers reached out with kind words and admiration of his upbeat and friendly demeanor.

Jeffrey Dale Nofts was a loyal and loving husband, son, brother, friend, and neighbor.  Some of his best qualities were his confidence, selflessness, kindness and his ability to enjoy life and be present in the moment.

He is and will continue to be missed by all who cared about and loved him, especially his wife, Dina.  His legacy will live on in our hearts and minds forever.

*Please no flowers.  Instead, in his honor, feel free to donate to the Neuroendocrine Research Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Jeff’s heart went out to children suffering from cancer and he donated money himself.
