Jennifer Joan Pearson

With deep sorrow, the family of Jennifer Pearson announces her passing on December 24, 2020. Jennifer Pearson, daughter of Ron and Carol Andrew, was born on March 12, 1961 in Sacramento, California. She attended and graduated from Mira Loma High School class of 1979.

A self-driven professional, Jennifer had a long career in business operations and information technology. Starting as a customer service representative with Sutter Health, she advanced to senior positions in a variety of different companies such as Hewlett Packard and Placer County Water Agency. While working full-time, she simultaneously earned her Associates and Bachelors degrees in Business from Sierra College and Golden Gate University. Since
2013, she retrained in Information Technology equivalent to another Associates degree and received other professional certifications.

Jennifer’s love for the outdoors started at a young age. She spent many summers at Lake Tahoe hiking, biking, boating and swimming with her family and cousins. As she grew, she also discovered a love for the ocean including becoming SCUBA certified and diving in Monterey, CA and in the Florida Keys. She was also an avid cyclist and runner and could frequently be seen riding the roads to and from Auburn, or on occasion, stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire.

Jennifer's love for the outdoors grew into a passion for gardening. She landscaped multiple terraced gardens among the trees on her property with a variety of exquisite plant species including her favorite, Clematis. She traveled and toured the gardens of many countries in Europe including attending the famous Chelsea Flower Show in London.

Jennifer will be remembered by her friends and family for her infectious laugh and sweet and humble disposition. Her beautiful smile will be missed by all. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Carol B. Andrew and brother in law Alan Cole. Jennifer is survived by her father, Ronald N. Andrew, and her siblings, Ron Andrew (Sylvia), Jeff Andrew (Diane), Cindy Cole, Rick Andrew (Debbie), and Mark Andrew, as well as many nieces and nephews and Mark Pearson. A graveside service will be held in her honor on January 8, 2021 at 1:00pm at East Lawn Cemetery 5757 Greenback Lane Sacramento, CA 95841.
