Jeremy D. Combs

Jeremy D. Combs – devoted husband, proud father, and loyal friend – passed away on August 26, 2021, with his loving wife Lynn and his two adoring daughters Jaycie and Julianna close to his side.

Born November 18, 1978 in Lodi, California to Gary and Mara Combs, Jeremy was the oldest of two sons. Surrounded by family, most of his childhood was spent in Galt, California, where he attended grade school and tested out early from Lodi High.

Jeremy married Lynn – the one and only love of his life – on July 31, 2001. They were blessed with Jaycie and Julianna, his sidekicks in many adventures over the years, which included hiking, target shooting, and traveling. Jeremy and Lynn have also enjoyed extra love from their many pets. He was a master griller and avid cook, making sure no one left one of his BBQs hungry. This is what made Jeremy so special: He made certain others were taken care of – always – and felt loved.

His 23-year career at Sutter Health was a point of pride for Jeremy. He began with Sutter as a security guard and worked his way to Training Specialist III, a Lead position on the Technology Training team, where he led two service lines. He was a dedicated and hardworking employee and colleague, taking every opportunity to keep his skills sharp to best serve the doctors and nurses he supported. To know Jeremy is to know he made many dear friends over the years at Sutter Health and he will be greatly missed by each and every one.

Jeremy is preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather, and his great-grandfather, Dwayne, with whom he shared a special bond. He is survived by his wife Lynn, doting daughters Jaycie and Julianna, as well as his mother Mara Manuel, brother Casey Combs (Catrina) and nephews Wyatt, Colt, and Brantley, grandmother Laura Manuel, and his many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jeremy was many things to many people: Husband, father, family man, friend, and colleague. We greatly miss this man who meant so very much to us!

Friends and family are welcome to attend the memorial service on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 1:00PM at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, California, 916-725-2109.
