Jimmie Inez Eubanks

Jimmie Inez “Nana” Eubanks, 90, of Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 3, 1934, in Bokchito, Oklahoma, to William Mose Armor and Laura Labor, Jimmie lived a life rich with love, adventure, and devotion to her family.

Jimmie's journey took her across the globe—from her roots in Oklahoma to Texas and onward to New York. Her travels extended internationally to Japan, Germany, Italy, France, and Greece before she ultimately made Sacramento her home in the early 1970s. It was there that she built a life filled with warmth and connection.

She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband Bill for 55 years. Together they raised two children: Hardy and Paula. As a stay-at-home mother, Jimmie poured her heart into creating a nurturing home environment. She found joy in tending to her garden and was an avid reader who cherished quiet moments with a good book. Her happiest times were spent surrounded by her children and grandchildren or enjoying peaceful days out on the boat.

Jimmie’s legacy lives on through those who loved her deeply. She is survived by her siblings Leona Joiner, Kenneth Armor, Berlin Armor; her daughter Paula; son-in-law Alex Olsen; daughter-in-law Karen Eubanks; grandchildren Ryan, Omar, Bobby, Amanda, Andrew, Aleecia, Michele, and Grace; great-grandchildren Joey, Chyan, Harper, Aaron, Pearl, Eliza, Audrey, Eloise, Hardy, Atavianna, Rylee, Nathan, and Raevyn; and great-great-grandchild Axel and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, son Hardy, sisters Billie, Dorothy, Patsy, Mary; brother Bill Wayne; and grandson Andrew.

Jimmie’s life was one of quiet strength and enduring love—a legacy that will continue through the generations she helped shape. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 1:15 PM until 1:45 PM at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery 5810 Midway Rd., Dixon, CA 95620.
