John Kenneth Wochnick

Of Citrus Heights, California, passed away on April 22, 2018, at the age of 85, he was a native of Portland, Oregon.  Survived by his loving wife Patricia, children; Michael (Maryjane), Donna (David) Anderson, and Theresa, and grandchildren; Timothy Wochnick and Benjamin and Margaret Anderson.  John saw service in Korea during the war.  Following the war he began his 43 year retail career in Portland and eventually migrated to California where he met the love of his life.  He was a long-time Rotarian and an active gardener until health issues limited his green thumb.  Family and friends are welcome to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mel Catholic Church (4745 Pennsylvania Ave., Fair Oaks).   In lieu of flowers donations to the University of Portland may be made (giving.up.edu)
