Joseph Michael Burns

Joseph Michael Burns, from Lynwood, California died suddenly in Citrus Heights, California on October 27th, 2024.

Joe leaves behind his mother, Beverly Burke, of Laguna Niguel, California, his sister Lisa Smith and brothers Billy Wilson, Randy Wilson, Scott Wilson, Jon Wilson and their families, and his beloved stepson, Michael Mondragon, all of Southern California.

Joe attended the San Francisco State Law School and passed the California Bar at twenty one, the youngest person at S.F. State to pass the Bar at that time. He was a practicing attorney in the 1970’s and continued to assist counsel in various ways throughout his life. He loved the organization of law and the complexities of criminal investigations.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Divine Savior Catholic Church in Orangevale, California on November 20th at 10:30 AM.
