Judith Anne Raymond-Martinez, age 73, passed away January 21, 2023, in Roseville. She was born in Chico, CA on May 11, 1949. Judy grew up in Sacramento, traveled around in the US and settled in San Francisco bay area for several years before returning to Sacramento. She was multi-talented, as recognized early in her life. She was gifted in her education and musically talented. She had a wonderful voice and loved to sing. She was talented and played several musical instruments, accordion, piano, cello and bass. She loved to dance, including line dance and clogging. She enjoyed and was proficient at crocheting hats, scarves and afghans.
Judy had a fun personality and was quick to make friends. We are sure that she is entertaining her family and friends who were waiting for her to arrive in her heavenly home. She is survived by her siblings; LuEllen Pettengell, Roscoe (Lynelle) Raymond, Wesley (Marie) Raymond, Vivian Raymond, Janice (Robert) Bishop and Ronald (Alecia) Raymond. Also survived by 18 nieces and nephews, 31 grand nieces and nephews and 1 gg nephew. She was preceded in death by her late husband, David Martinez and her parents Frank Raymond and Jeanne (Barnes) Raymond.
Services will be held Monday, January 30, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel, 8267 Deseret Ave., Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
Burial will be followed at 2:30 p.m. at the Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA. Funeral arrangements by Price Funeral Chapel.
