Wood, Kelley Dayle (aka Kelley Koll)
Kelley Wood was born on May 5, 1972 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on December 18, 2020 in Sacramento, California. She is the loving mother of Cody Faria (Danielle and grand-dog Kooper), daughter of Dan and Lynda Terry, and sister of Jason Wood (Julie), Daniel Terry (Regina), and Nathan Methvin-Terry (Jeannette). Kelley was full of love and compassion. She was artistic with a natural flair for design and fashion. She had an eye for pulling space together that could be both unique and functional. It was a trait that employers appreciated and utilized. She loved being a part of the creation of the California Firefighters Memorial in Sacramento’s Capitol Park. She took pride in helping to form the California Professional Firefighter’s Pipe and Drum Band. They were like family to her. Kelley loved exploring nature and spent as much time as possible near the ocean or on one of her many hiking trails. She loved maps and traveling to new places. She was always grateful for having had the opportunity to visit many countries in her short life. She loved a good book. She loved to cook. Her banana bread and lemon bars were enjoyed by many. Kelley’s laugh was infectious and her heart was strong. She always had a listening ear for a friend in need. She loved her family. She loved napping with her grand-dog. She lived her life to the fullest. She will be missed by many but her spirit will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Kelley is also survived by many other family members, to include: Great-Uncle Frank Shelton, Uncle Johnny and Aunt Andrea Shelton, Aunt Carol Shackelford, Uncle Larry Wood (Judy), Aunt Debbie Shelton, step-daughter Lilly Bechtel Erhartic, step-mother Kathyrne Wood, ex-husband and lifelong friend Joseph Faria, former sister-in-law Nicola Martin, cousins John, Jamey, Matthew, Adam, Bradley and Brad, nieces Hannah, Merissa and Mia, and nephews Johnny and Trevor. Shackelford. Due to COVID restrictions, no service is planned at this time.
