Korena Rose Phillips

Our Angel, Korena Rose Phillips of Roseville, CA ascended to Heaven on Sunday, June 26th, 2022 at 2:57 p.m. at the tender age of 21. She was born on August 7th, 2000 at  5:45 p.m. at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento, CA to Isabel Phillips and Shawn Bobbit. She was the oldest of 2 children from her mother Isabel Phillips, and the 2nd youngest of 4 children from her father, Shawn Bobbit.  

Korena Rose Phillips was raised in Roseville, CA and attended Sargeant Elementary School and Oakmont High School. She enjoyed Cheerleading and Dance at Oakmont High School. She also enjoyed acting and was cast in the play, Earth take a Bath, at The Magic Circle Theater. Korena loved Roller Coasters, horror movies, and Justin Beiber. She was well known for her smile and witty personality.  She was a loyal friend and confident and fiercely protective of all her loved ones. She graduated High School in 2018 and received her certificate as a Phlebotomist in 2022.  

Korena always wanted to help others. She had a heart of gold; even at the young age of 16 she knew she wanted to be an organ donor. She leaves behind the gift of life to 6 recipients.
Korena leaves behind her mother, Isabel Phillips, her father, Shawn Bobbit, her Grandmother, Carol Rizzo, her Grandmother, Madelyn Mosley, and her Grandfather, Edwin Phillips. She also leaves her siblings Leo Hendon, Stephawn Bobbit, Breeanna Bobbit, and Shanieka Bobbit-Hernandez.  There are many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends she leaves behind to mourn her loss. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held in her honor on Saturday, July 30th at 1:00 pm. at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA.
