Lance Nolan Meinzer

Lance Nolan Meinzer, born on November 18, 1978, in Sacramento, CA was sent to his eternal home on October 21, 2024.  

Lance, was affectionately known as a great father, an amazing friend and most caring brother.  Lance was the life of the party and could make anyone laugh and smile. Lance was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his children, family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Lance participated in the Boy Scouts of America with his father and earned many badges and attended the Jamborees.  He was devoted to his faith and his studies led him to become a priest at age 16.

After Rio Americana High School, Lance started his contracting journey working with his father, brother and many great friends and employees with his business.  He later worked with Rus, his friend and mentor, a General Contractor where he learned to become a General Contractor himself. He also worked at his brother-in-law’s gun range selling firearms where he met Anika Brooks.

Lance is survived by his children Rossi, Makayla, Kayce, and Zerrin. His sisters and brothers in laws, April & Seth Astle, Daniell, Camille & Justin Popken, Hanna & Tanner Low, and his brother Josef Meinzer.  

Lance lived life to the fullest riding his many motorcycles, shooting guns, collecting guns, reloading ammo, Magic the Gathering cards, clamping and laughing with anyone that was around him.  But the most important thing to Lance was spending time with family and raising his children.

The funeral service to honor the life of Lance Nolan Meinzer will be held on November 2nd, 2024, starting at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2610 Sierra Meadows Drive in Rocklin, CA 95677. Followed by grave site service at East Lawn and Sierra Hills Memorial Park 5757 Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights.  After the grave side service: The celebration of Lance and his Mother Jenell will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2610 Sierra Meadows Drive in Rocklin, CA 95677.

Although Lance’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.  Price Funeral Chapel (916-725-2109), directors.
