Larry Bruner is an extraordinary man. He was born June 6, 1952, the second child of Goldie Miles and Samuel Bruner and stepmother Frankie Bruner, who preceded him, along with his brothers Mitchell, Michael and Kenneth and sister Deanna. He leaves behind his wife Annetta of 44 years, his daughter Keisha, Granddaughters Chantel, Takeya and Tamia and Great granddaughter Jordyn, Great Grandson Marcus, sisters Elois (Madison) and Elaine, brother Brian (Anne). Nieces Shelly, LaShelle, Amber, Autamn. Nephews Michael, Dino, Robert and Bryan.
Larry joined the Navy right out of high school and served his country for two terms. After his tour in the Navy Larry pursued his educational goals and received an AS degree. He started working with youth for Behavioral Health and continued to help mentor displaced youth, late career he worked at Crestwood for over 20 years, also worked with Alzheimer's patients and went on many walks for Alzheimer's.
Larry was extremely dedicated to his wife and family and will forever be remembered for his kindness and compassion.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 9:00-10:00AM with his memorial service at 10:00AM all at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, 916-725-2109.
