Laurie Carol Wong

Laurie Carol Wong, age 64 years,of Rancho Cordova, CA, passed away on October 27th, 2021. Laurie bravely battled cancer for 1.3 years till she was ready to go to God. Laurie was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Garnet and Robert Payne on October 8,1957. Laurie moved to California in 1976 with her future husband, Alan. Laurie built a lovely life with Alan, as a homemaker, in Sunnyvale, CA, raising their three children. Laurie was a spunky, yet sweet, woman who loved watching movies, eating out at yummy restaurants, visiting Santa Cruz and San Francisco, and being a dog owner. Laurie is the loving mother of Danielle Cinder, Crystal Wong and Donovan (Elizabeth Harker) Wong. Laurie is a cherished grandmother to Tyler, Nolan, and Mae. Sister to Sue (Herbert), Janet (RJ), LeAnn (Gary), and Sandy. Aunt to nieces and nephews Christian, Israel, Jenny, Brian, Tracy, Travis, Jessica, Rachael, Tim, Pam, and Tiffany. Laurie is preceded in death by parents Garnet and Robert. 

Friends and family are invited to attend viewing services on Monday, November 1 from 10am-1pm, with a funeral service to follow from 1pm-2pm. Laurie’s services will be at Price Funeral Home, 6335 Sunrise Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610.
