Leanne Larsen Adams

The world lost an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend on the morning of September 16, 2021. Leanne Larsen Adams, 76, let go of her struggle and passed away peacefully at home after several years of battling with various illnesses.

Born December 28, 1944 to Earle and Gerry Larsen, Leanne lived a full life of love and service. As a lifelong active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she had a deep faith in and a testimony of a loving Father in Heaven. With that, she had many callings and opportunities to serve and minister to those around her. Many have been on the receiving end of her warm hugs, loving service and her light bringing smile. Her greatest joy was finding ways to bring joy to others.

Second only to her devotion to Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was her devotion to her Family. As a dedicated wife and mother, she set a high standard for the noble title of Homemaker. Countless hours and many personal wants were sacrificed to successfully support and care for her busy husband and 3 boys. Her family was indeed the most important piece of her life, with her grandchildren becoming the crowning jewel.

Leanne is survived by her husband Leon, three sons Michael (Pamela), David, Aaron (Laura), her brother; Earle Larsen Jr., her sisters; Karol Palmer, Genelle (Daniel) Pugmire, Martha (Brian) Manning. She was preceded in death by her parents, bother Jared Larsen, sister in law Caroline Larsen, brother in law Glen Palmer and daughter in law Julie Adams.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a viewing on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610. A second viewing at 9:00-9:45 a.m. will be held just prior to the service on Friday, September 24, 2021. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Oak Avenue building located at 8056 Oak Ave. Citrus Heights, CA 95610.
