Lynn passed away Friday November 6, 2020. Born April 24,1934, the youngest of 7 to Bernard Buwalda and Katherine Van Rees-Buwaldanin Pella, Iowa on the family farm. The family moved to Southern California in the 50’s. She started her college at El Camino where she met and married Howard C. Moore in 1955. They had three children. She went on to graduate from Cal State Long Beach with a BS in Nursing in 1972. Education and Nursing was her most valued endeavors. Her 60 years of nursing included ICU and Coronary care at Little Company of Mary (Torrance, Ca.), Oncology and Psychiatry at UCD hospital, Sutter Memorial and at Kaiser where she met Garrett Myers. Both were members of the LDS church. They were married June 22, 2002, and very happy together until his passing in 2011. Lynn was dedicated to service. She volunteered with the Red Cross in New York after 9/11, Hospice, Women and Family shelters and wherever there was an opportunity to serve in the church. She leaves behind many who have been touched by her kindness and generosity. Lynn’s children, Randall, Rebecca (Randall Mackay), Roderick (Clarissa) and Grandchildren Christopher & Clark Moore, and Katelyn Mackay. Family by love and marriage; Monica Germaine (Mark) Melinda Price (Kevin), Marc Myers (Debbie) and Melissa Bramlett. She will be interred with Garrett at the Sylvan Cemetery in Citrus Heights Ca. on 11/20/20.
