Linda May Driver

Linda May Driver (Hoerler/Islas) was born on June 19, 1961 to Mary and Jesse Islas.  She had four siblings. Linda graduated from Highlands High School and went to work for the State of California, Franchise Tax Board and retired in December of 2018.

Linda’s passion in life was caring for animals; she would often take her beloved cockatoo; Murray to work with her and to her favorite Starbucks. She loved smooth jazz music, wine tasting, good food and get-togethers with her friends and family.

Linda passed away on Tuesday June 4th, 2019 due to complications from a heart surgery. Linda is now with our Heavenly Father and in the loving arms of her mother and father, her brother Michael, and nephew Gregory. She leaves behind her husband Fred (children Melissa and Justin), siblings Kathy (Bob), Richard and Gerald, nephews Joshua (Brooke), Michael James, David, James, Andrew and Renee. Also, great-nieces Riley (mother Lea), Sophia and great-nephew Colton. We will miss and love her always; she was kind and generous and loved her family deeply.  Until we meet again, Linda, Rest in Paradise.
