Louis Allen Patterson Jr.

My beloved husband of 55 years, Louis (Pat) Patterson peacefully passed away on February 12, 2025 

Born in Torrance, CA on May 28, 1949, he was known for his work ethic, love of classic cars and his wonderful sense of humor. 

Louis was employed by the United States Post Office upon his return from Vietnam in 1969. His unit was known as "The Swamp Rats." He spent nine months in the hospital recovering from his wounds. His last station was Letterman General Hospital. He met his wife Deborah on an R & R to Soda Springs and they were married soon after. 

They were blessed with two children, Michelle (Patterson), Miles and David Patterson (RIP) who each had three children. Hunter Miles, (Kiley) Dustin Frank, (Catalina) Lexie Frank, Samantha Beausoleil, Emily Munyer (Liam) and Jayden Patterson (Mia.)

Then followed seven great grandchildren, Lilith, Scarlette and Grayson Hill, Emberlina and Evee (RIP) Munyer, Dallas Miles and Isaiah Frank.

Services will be held at St. Mel Catholic Church 4745 Pennsylvania Ave., Fair Oaks on February 25th, 2025 at 1030 am. Guests are invited to a reception at Deborah and Michelle's home in Carmichael. A rosary will be said before Mass at 10am. 

He is survived by his sister, Mary Norris (Michael) and his brother in law who was also his best man, Ron Cole and his family, and his many nieces and nephews. 

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
