Luis Diaz Gonzalez Sr. Obituary

   HONORING HIS LIFE
Luis Diaz, a father, grandfather, son, brother, passed away peacefully on November 30th, 2022 at Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento. He was born March 3, 1935 in Havana, Cuba. He was blessed by the grace of God to have lived a long life surrounded by his loved ones. Luis was loved and respected by many. He loved playing the bongo drums in the streets of Cuba. He was in a band and loved talking about how much of a star he truly was. Salsa music was the key to his heart as well as food, that is where his beloved wife Maria comes in. Her tasty recipes were the key to his heart. The love they shared was an inspiration to all. Love cannot be forgotten and never will be. He leaves behind beautiful children and grandchildren. His daughter Lizette, his daughter Ruby, and his son Luisito. Luis loved talking about his adventurous life, one in which he would never miss an opportunity to speak about. He was strong and fought his whole life. Even during his nal days, he never gave up. Luis was an inspiration to many. May we gather to celebrate his life in happiness, not in mourning. To know God blessed him to have his nal goodbyes, to have such a beautiful and long life. Luis will remain in our hearts and in spirit. Continuing to bless us all.
