     Luz (Meaning Light) was born in Ceiba Puerto Rico and raised in Fajardo Puerto Rico, loving daughter of the late Perfecto Rosario and Delia Luisa Rosario Colon who moved to the United States when she was a child settling in New York and shortly thereafter Massachusetts. In 1984 with her 2 children she relocated to California where she lived until her sun set on 07 November, 2020.

     Loved by many Lucy was nurturing, warm, welcoming and willing to help anyone asking nothing in return. Lucy loved music, writing poems and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

      Lucy leaves behind her daughter Brenda Martinez, son Cory Soto, Son Herman Soto Jr, son David Soto, son Johnathon Soto, son Clarence Watson , son Eric Salonga son Jason Owens, son John Owens, son Branden Hooker, son Landen Hooker and grandchildren Raven Soto, Valentino Martinez-Soto and Mikaela Martinez, Nephew Edwin Parilla, Nephew Luis Parilla, Nephew Ruben Oriol, Niece Sonia Rosario, Niece Diana Rosario, Nephew Ruben Rosario, Niece Naomi Parilla, nephew Joseph Delvalle, great nephews and nieces Abigale Parilla, Bella Parilla, Edwin Parilla Jr, Ivan Parilla, sister Hortensia Villanueva, sister Gladys Rosario, sister Irene Paduan, brother Ruben Rosario, brother George Rosario, brother Victor Rosario, brother Junior Rosario, brother Serafin Rosario, brother James Rosario, Best Friend Edward Hooker, Daughter in law Mirna Soto, Son in law Claudio Martinez, and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

     While she may be gone, she will continue to brighten our path with her light (LUZ).

Friends and family are welcome to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020 at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 925 Sacramento Street, Vallejo, CA 94590
