Mai Thi Manzano Obituary
Mai was born the fifth child to Pham Dan and Tran Thi Chi in Vietnam on October 12, 1937. Her parents died young, and she was taken in by her grandfather. As the war raged on, she and her two surviving siblings, older sister and younger brother, were sent to live with their uncle in Da Nang. She grew into adulthood and became a mother to six children. As the war drew near to its end, she and her children left Vietnam, eventually arriving in the USA. As an immigrant in a new country, Mai worked extremely hard to provide and care for her children. She loved them dearly and always wanted the best for them. She lived in Montana and Mississippi before meeting her future husband Joseph Manzano and moving her family to California. With Joe she raised son Michael and granddaughter Erica. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her eldest son, Hung. She is survived by her husband Joseph and her children:
Yung and wife Clarissa

Hoa and wife Tina
Be and husband Tuan
Michael
Erica and husband Josh
She also has 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She passed away peacefully in her home on June 26, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.
