Margaret Flint Morgan

Margaret Flint Morgan was born on May 13, 1925, in Los Angeles, California, to Roy Charles Flint and Anna Theresa (Bode) Flint. She spent her early years in Glendale, California, where she met and married the love of her life, Robert M. “Bob” Morgan, on May 27, 1949. Margaret was blessed with two sisters, Louise and Dorothy, who preceded her in death.

As a young woman, Margaret had a passion for travel and explored much of the United States in her early twenties alongside a dear friend. Together with Bob, she built a beautiful life, raising three children: Robert Daniel Morgan, Kenneth I. Morgan, and Janet Morgan.

In 1961, the Morgan family moved to Sacramento, California, where they were introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Margaret embraced the gospel wholeheartedly, making it the foundation of her life and her family’s. She served faithfully in many church callings but was especially known and loved for her tireless dedication to the Girls’ Camp program. Her leadership and enthusiasm as Camp Director touched countless lives and created cherished memories for generations of young women.

Margaret’s resilience and determination were evident when, in the late 1950s, she began preparing taxes in Lancaster after Bob fell ill. Her expertise grew into a lifelong career as a tax professional. After moving to Sacramento, she founded AmTax—a tax school, processing center, and service hub for tax professionals. Through her teaching and mentorship, Margaret helped hundreds of individuals launch successful careers in the tax industry.

She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for family, and her commitment to helping others succeed. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the lessons she taught, and the example she set.
Margaret is survived by two of her three children, seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory. Her life was a testament to service, love, and perseverance—a life well lived and deeply loved.
