Margaret "Peggy" Carrero

Our Beloved Mother, Margaret “Peggy” Carrero of Sacramento, California, passed away on Sunday July 4, 2021 at the age of 81. Margaret was born June 5, 1940 in New York; the oldest of ten siblings. Peggy moved to California in 1984 with her husband Joe and their two youngest children, Margaret and Larry. She loved her family dearly. She also loved children, in general, which is why she spent decades working as a school crossing guard on both coasts for numerous Catholic and Public Schools. Peggy enjoyed going to church, reading, playing bingo, going to the casino, listening to music especially 50’s doo wop music, dancing, pizza and ice cream. And as a true New Yorker, Peggy also enjoyed her coffee in the morning. Peggy had a love of life and people. She always worked hard and did so with a smile, always making a point to connect with the people she encountered. She predicted many a baby with Divine precision, loved a good laugh and her prayers were powerful. Peggy was very spiritual and loved Jesus Our Lord.

Peggy is survived by her loving children Joe, John, and Margaret, and grandchildren Brooklyn, Nathan, Debbie and Kristine. Preceded in death by her husband Joe and youngest son, Larry. God Bless You Mom We Will Forever Have You In Our Hearts & Memories.
