Marion Kline Flandrena

Born July 27, 1925, in East Orange, New Jersey, Marion was the consummate wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma (Gigi) to her husband, Robert (deceased), children, Robert Jr, Jan Blakeslee (Gene), Constance Powell and Tucker (Marcia), Grandchildren Jennifer Dasilva, Jacy Giambi, and Robert Powell, and great grandchildren Jaden, Brooks, Braxton and London Bosworth, Jordan and Grey Giambi, Drake and  Xavier Dasilva, Bodie and Nora Powell. 

Known for her bridge prowess, knitting skill, creative entertaining, recipe sharing, and “party girl” personality Marion lived life fully and joyfully.  Just 3 months ago she planned and celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends, a testament to her enduring spirit and her belief that the best moments in life are those shared with people you love.  She will be  greatly missed not only by her family, but by her dear friends at Eskaton Carmichael and all those whose lives she touched in her activities at St. Mel’s Church in Fair Oaks, and her work life at Blue Diamond Almond Growers and Williams Sonoma. 

Visitation at 10:00 am Monday, November 3, 2025, followed by Rosary at 11:00 am, and Funeral Mass at 11:30 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 5751 Locust Avenue, Carmichael, CA.  Friends are welcome to attend a happy hour celebration of an amazing life to be held from 3:00 pm to 5 pm on November 3, 2025 at Eskaton Village, 3939 Walnut Avenue, Carmichael, CA.  Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Jesuit High School Scholarship Program (P.O. Box 254647, Sacramento, CA 95865).
