Marleene (Robledo) Stevenson

Marleene Stevenson left this earth on October 26, 2021. Our hearts and our souls are heavy with her absence.  Marleene was born alongside her twin brother Joe on November 19, 1969 in Camden NJ, to her parents Ketty and Rigoberto Stevenson. An independent and vibrant personality from the beginning, Marleene never let her lifelong health issues get her down. Her childhood was spent causing lots of comical mischief with her sister Rose and brothers Joe and Raymond. She was famous in her hometown for her sharp sense of humor and warmth of spirit. To know her truly was to love her.  After moving to California, Marleene met the love of her life, Gerald Peterson. They were married on August 11, 2018, surrounded by loved ones from all over the country. Marleene famously rolled down the aisle to Beyonce in a bright dress of red roses.  Marleene’s family meant more to her than anything else in the world. She was a lifelong joy to her surviving siblings, Joe and Rose, and her parents, Ketty Ana and Rigoberto. She was unendingly proud of her children Ketty and Robert and her grandchild Adrianna, and always tried her best to support them. She was a force of love and warmth in the lives of her nieces and nephews, Eric Jr., Zoe, Zelda, Lola, and Rae.  Marleene was predeceased by her father Rigoberto and her brother Raymond. She is survived by her partner Gerald Peterson, her children, Ketty and Robert Stevenson, her siblings Joe Stevenson and Rose Stevenson, her mother, Ketty Ana Stevenson.  Friends are welcome for visitation Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 1:00pm-2:00am at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA; ph. 916-725-2109) and are invited to attend services Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 2:00pm.
