Maxine DiCarlo Obituary

Maxine Summers DiCarlo, 91, of North Highlands passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

Maxine was born in Ogden, UT, on April 25, 1928 to Clarence and Gladys Summers. She grew up in Utah, where she started her family before moving to California in 1966. In California, she met and married Tom DiCarlo. They shared 52 wonderful years together. Maxine’s life was dedicated to the love and care of her family. She was an amazing matriarch and a shining example of kindness and strength. She touched so many lives and will forever be remembered for her compassionate and loving spirit.

She is preceded in death by their daughter, Paula,

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Tom DiCarlo; her children: Lee (Judy), Joe (Betty), Bill (Marlene), Peg, Scott and Phyllis (Mike); her grandchildren, Chad, Jeff, Joe, Nicole, Linda, Tiffany, Robert, Trek, Ian and Hannah; their 25 great and great great grandchildren; her brothers Walt and Ken and her sisters, Gay, June and Kathy and many other family and friends.

Due to the mandated quarantine, her Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
