Michael Eugene Bledsoe

Michael Eugene Bledsoe was born April 17th, 1963 in Los Angeles, California to Eddie Bledsoe and Cora Hall Bledsoe. (Both preceded Michael in death.) Michael expected Christ at a young age. 

Michael attended Madison Elementary School in Pomona, California. He attended Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles, California where he graduated in 1981; he loved the sport of boxing when he was in high school where he competed. 

Michael moved to Sacramento, CA in the late 80's where he started his career working for the state of California for more than 30 years. He purchased his home in the early 90's making him one of the first members of his family to have done so. Michael was a very playful yet serious person. He always kept a smile on his face. He enjoyed traveling the country as well as overseas where he visited Italy and Paris among others. 

Michael enjoyed his early morning workouts and he took a lot of pride in his appearance. He was always dressed to impress. Michael's nieces, nephews and cousins would tease him by saying he looked like a Morris Chestnut "knockoff." 

He simply enjoyed spending time with his family. Michael had no children of his own, he would always say he had plenty of nieces and nephews. Michael's home was open to any family or friend in need of help. 

Michael leaves to cherish his most precious memories to his siblings Sharon Moses of Los Angeles, CA. Alonzo Bledsoe of Los Angeles, CA. Yolanda Bledsoe of Idaho, Lisa Bledsoe of Washington, Theresa Bledsoe of Sacramento, Ricky Bledsoe (preceded in death) Beverly Bledsoe (preceded in death) and a host of aunties, an uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

A graveside service will be held at Sylvan Cemetery on Tuesday, February 18th at 1pm.
