Minnie Aton Obituary

Minnie Vivian Aton, 93, a life time resident of Sacramento, passed away in her home on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020.

Minnie was born Nov. 26, 1926, to the late Peter Rafell and Luzella Green (Scott) Hamilton.

Minnie was a housewife and devoted mother of six children. She is survived by all six of her children, Debbie Cunningham, Denise New, Darlene Terry, Deanne Nordin, William S. Aton and Dawn Humburg; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Minnie had various interests throughout her life including, horseback riding, oil painting, golf and travel. She loved to read. Always devoted to her faith, Minnie actively served in her church which included two full time missions.

Minnie was predeceased by her husband William E. Aton; three sisters: Donna, Ruby, Lalia; four brothers: Wayne, Clyde, Richard and Wendell, Gilbert; and a grandson Nicholas.

There will be no public viewing, only a private graveside service at Fair Oaks Cemetery.
