Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Wesley “Bryan” Breaks Jr. of 48 years, her parents Ralph and Anna Fay Horner, sisters Janet (Horner) Willis and Martha (Horner) Brown. She is survived by her daughters Peggy (Breaks) Ralph of Citrus Heights, Bonnie (Breaks) Parker (Rex) of Somerset, Kentucky, and Renee (Breaks) Garrison (Larry) of Richland, Washington. Six grandsons, two granddaughters and one great-grandson. Also survived by brothers Dale Horner (Patty) of Reading, Pennsylvania and Dean Horner (Darlene) of Citrus Heights.
She had several nieces and nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.
Nancy was a lifelong member of the Citrus Heights Friends Church where she served in many roles through the years. Nancy and her husband Bryan spent thirty years involved in The Gideons International distributing the word of God in hotels, doctor’s offices and to medical workers out of the Auburn, California camp. She also spent many years as a patron of the Community Bible Study.
Nancy spent many years honing her craft of cake decorating and worked professionally at a local bakery for several years. Birthday and wedding cakes were her specialty.
Nancy will always be remembered by family and friends for her zany sense of humor. She could always make a person laugh.
