Patricia "Pat" Brozo, beloved wife and dedicated grandmother, passed at age 77. Pat has happily joined her parents Edward John and Veronica Ann (Uga) Weiss, as well as her brothers Edward John Weiss, Jr., Kenneth Randall Weiss, and John Anthony Weiss, who passed before her.
Born the second oldest of 7 kids in East St. Louis, Illinois, in a tight-knit Lithuanian community, Pat is survived by her sisters Victoria Marie Weiss, Nancy Josephine Henry, and Sandra Jean Saunders; her doting husband, Michael Steven Brozo; her daughter Mary Vanessa Gwaltney, and her granddaughter Paige Elizabeth Gwaltney.
Pat was an award-winning quilter, seamstress, music connoisseur, traveler, fly-fisher, occasional gizzard/bone marrow eater, crossword ace, and avid reader. She never missed a single athletic event her granddaughter participated in, traveling far and wide to enthusiastically support the “apple of her eye”.
Her collection of quilts will provide a lasting reminder of Pat’s creativity and love for years to come.
