Patricia Ann Sanderson

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Powell Sanderson, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on September 17th, 2024.

Born in Roosevelt, Utah, attended Uintah High School graduated in 1969 and went on to attend Brigham Young University and graduated in 1973. She married her husband on January 4th,1973. She retired from the school district after working for 25 years.

Survived by her devoted husband Jack Sanderson, and her brothers, Robert Powell and Steven Powell. She was the beloved mother of Leslie Sanderson, Scott Sanderson, daughter in law, Madelaine Sanderson, Samantha Sanderson Edwards and Son in Law David Edwards, proud grandmother of Caleb Sanderson, Kylie Sanderson, Caylee Sanderson, Brooke Sanderson and Grand-Pup Parker.

Patricia was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She had a passion for Genealogy and learning about her family heritage. Her Mother and Grandmother taught her how to quilt when she was young, which turned into a passion for Patricia, making over 100 quilts.

She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A visitation will be held at Price Funeral Chapel, on Saturday, September 28, 2024. The viewing will be held 9:00am – 10:00am, followed by the funeral services at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Fair Oaks Cemetery.
