Patricia Anne (West) Welch

Patricia Anne Welch (West) was born on May 14th, 1935 to Clifford and Pansy West in Sacramento California. She had three brothers and two sisters. Patricia passed peacefully in her home on April 23rd, 2022 and was reunited with her son, siblings and parents in Heaven.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband Cyrus Welch, Daughter Victoria and Son William, 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

  Cyrus and Patricia went on their first date on March 17th, 1956. Shortly after they were married on October 14th of the same year in her mother’s home in Rio Linda, Ca. They were then sealed in the LDS Los Angeles Temple exactly four years after their first date on March 17th, 1960. Pat and Cy welcomed their first child Cyrus Jr. into the world in November 1957. Through the years, Patricia and Cyrus were transferred to many places including Puerto Rico, Germany and Rome, NY while enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.  In 1986 after retiring, they decided to put their roots permanently back in Patricia’s hometown Sacramento to be near their children and grandchildren. 

Services for Patricia are as follows: Visitation on Friday, May 6th, 2022 from 4-7pm at Price Funeral Chapel,  6335 Sunrise Blvd. Citrus Heights, CA. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 7th, 2022 at 10AM at the Rio Tierra LDS Building, 761 Rio Tierra, Sacramento, CA. Interment on Monday, May 9th, 2022 11AM at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park,  8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA.
