Randy Lynn Mahan Obituary
Randy Lynn Mahan
October 4, 1950 - March 23, 2025
We are sad to announce that Randy Lynn (Ipson) Mahan passed away on the morning of March 23, 2025, after a lengthy illness.
Randy was born in Oxnard, CA, to Max and Viola Ipson. She graduated from Hueneme High School and shortly thereafter married her childhood sweetheart, Dean Mahan. They produced two daughters and would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on March 25, 2025.
The family relocated to Citrus Heights in 1984, where Randy spent 25+ years employed in the workers compensation industry. She was an avid bowler in her younger years and pretty darn good at it with a mean curve ball. She was always the life of any party and had a sense of humor (and curiosity) that were hard to match. For several years before her health started deteriorating, she and Dean hosted an annual Fourth of July bash which was the highlight of the year.
Randy will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband, Dean; daughters Heather (Justin) Cisneros and Mandee Mahan; brother Dave (Patti) Bolton of Ojai; sister Mary Maulhardt of Citrus Heights; grandson Trenton (Diana) Cisneros; granddaughter Hailey Cisneros; great granddaughter Ellie Cisneros; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jim and Chuck Bolton.
A memorial service will be held at Price Funeral Chapel in Citrus Heights on Friday, April 11, at 1 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice
