Rickie William Barnett

Rickie William Barnett, 77, of Carmichael, California, passed away August 18, 2024. Rickie was born to Corene Lorene Nix Peterson and Sherman William Barnett on June 4, 1947 in Richmond, California. After he graduated High School, Rickie went on to serve in the United States Navy. He was a man of God and had many interests in his life including fishing, music, a good joke and Star Trek, so in the words of Spock, “live long and prosper.”

Rickie is survived by his sister Pettra Danner; children, Brenda Hall, Sara M. Barnett, Benjamin B. Barnett; and grandchildren, Cheyenne Morris, Sloane Morris, Kristian Sosa and Roberto Sosa.  He is predeceased by both his parents; brother Julian Sherman Barnett; sisters, Trecer Dian Barnett Townsend and Lillian Barnett Batty; daughter, Cynthia Rene Barnett.

There is to be a viewing held Tuesday, September 17th, 2:30 pm at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA 95610. A Graveside is to follow the next day, Wednesday, September 18th, 10:00 am at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA 95620.
