Robert Clifton Massey

Robert Clifton Massey, of Citrus Heights, CA, passed away on November 24, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 94. He was a proud WWII Veteran.

Robert Massey was a husband of 74 years to his wife June. They were married in September 5, 1947, at First Baptist Church of Bakersfield. They were once asked what marriage means to them. Their answer was simple yet profound. They said, “Marriage is hard work, but it means being with your best friend.”

He was a father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed & always will be remembered as an amazing man of faith and one with a gracious heart. He loved the scriptures and spend much time in study and meditation.He is preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Verdie Massey, His brothers Joe and Bill.

He is survived by his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory. His beloved wife June Massey of 74 years marriage, his brothers Dale, Gilford and his sister Patsy. He is also survived his children Diana, Elaine, Allen, Brent and Laura and his 15 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren.

Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 12:00-1:00 PM with the memorial service at 1:00 PM, all at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA, 95610, 916-725-2109.
