Robert Bailey Price III

Robert Bailey Price III of El Dorado Hills went home to be with his Lord on August 11, 2025 at the age of 87 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise Carter Price, son Robert Randall Price, daughters Rebecca Price Turnblade, and Jo Price Ruby, eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Growing up in poor circumstances on a farm in eastern Mississippi, he graduated from Mississippi State University in 1960, becoming a 36-year civilian employee of the US Air Force. He served as an aerospace engineer and manager at Brookley Field in Mobile, AL and McClellan AFB in Sacramento, CA, retiring as a GS-15. He went on to become a pastor with the Free Methodist Church, serving churches in El Dorado Hills and Orangevale. The Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday, August 22 at 10 AM Viewing and 11 AM Service at Oak Avenue Free Methodist Church, 8790 Oak Ave., Orangevale, CA.
