Robert “Bob” Charles Walker
January 17, 1945 – March 19, 2026
Robert “Bob” Charles Walker, 81, of Sacramento, California, passed away on March 19, 2026. Born and raised in Sacramento, Bob graduated from Bishop Armstrong High School and attended Sacramento City College. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, a part of his life he carried with honor throughout his years.
Bob worked as an electrician with Empire Electric and was a proud member of the IBEW. He was a devoted Catholic his entire life and lived his faith quietly and faithfully. Bob had a deep love for his cockatiel birds and was known for whistling The Andy Griffith Show theme song along with them. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, diving for abalone, and cooking, where he was known as an excellent chef.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia; his father, Charles; his wife, Deborah; and his sister, Katie Walker. He is survived by his sisters Patricia Copus, Mary (Bob Butera), Barbara (Daniel Schuh), and their families, daughter Colette Walker, and step-children Meagan, Haley, Jamie, and their families.
Services will be held at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Carmichael on Friday May 15, 2026 at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow.
