Roger Owen Warloe, aged 92, passed away on December 29, 2024, in Granite Bay, CA. Born on April 17, 1932, in Los Angeles, CA, he led a distinguished life marked by his commitment to family, country, and community.
Colonel Roger Warloe served valiantly in the United States Air Force for 25 years, dedicating his life to the service of his country. His military career was characterized by honor, leadership, and a profound dedication to duty, which earned him respect and admiration from his peers and subordinates alike.
Beyond his military service, Roger was deeply involved in his community. He was an avid singer with the local group River Coral and dedicated many years to working with senior gleaners, helping to collect surplus food for distribution to the needy. His commitment to these causes reflected his compassionate spirit and desire to make a difference.
Roger leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Ella Warloe; daughter Debbie Wayland and Donna Davis; sons Charles and Stephen Warloe; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Delerie Osugi.
A service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at Price Funeral Home on January 7th at 10 am. Roger's life was a testament to his values of loyalty, service, and community, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
