Samuel Baird Obituary

Samuel David Baird, songwriter and father, passed away on March 23, 2024. Sam was born on January 26th, 1949 in Reno, Nevada. His mother was Maxine Rysdam and his father was Robert Baird.

Sam graduated from Casa Roble High School in 1969 and spent most of his 75 years living in Fair Oaks, California. He was a loving father, loyal friend, and dedicated his life to taking care of those around him. He was a car aficionado, collectible connoisseur, and loved writing songs and poetry.

Sam was preceded in death by his mother Maxine, brothers Edward and Ronald, and daughter Cameo and is survived by his children Tamra, Alexis, Matthew, Jessie, Samuel, and Elusha, as well as several grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcomed to attend the memorial visitation at Price Funeral Chapel in Citrus Heights, CA on Friday April 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM with graveside service to follow at Fair Oaks Cemetery District in Fair Oaks, CA. at 1:30 PM.
