Sharon Blanca Gallegos Adams, 39, of Roseville, CA passed away peacefully in her home on April 2, 2021, surrounded by loved ones after a brave 10-month battle with stomach cancer.
Sharon was born April 15, 1981, in Guayaquil, Ecuador to Gino Orlando Gallegos Ortega and Lourdes Amparo Gonzabay Solis. She moved to the United States with her family when she was 18 years old. In 2004, she started dating Tytus Andrew Adams and on December 30, 2004, they were married and sealed for time and eternity in the LDS Oakland Temple.
Sharon had a great love for the Lord and was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to serve as the pianist for the Primary children. Music was an important part of her life. She performed with the orchestra at the American River College, where she received her Associate’s degree. She loved to play the piano and violin, and enjoyed teaching and performing with her children, nieces, and nephews. She also loved to travel with her family. In addition to her native language of Spanish, she was fluent in English and French. Her Ecuadorian culture was very important to her. She loved to cook traditional dishes and would travel to her home country often to celebrate with her extended family.
Family was incredibly important to Sharon. Her greatest desire was to bear and raise her children in a loving home. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed gathering with parents, siblings, and extended family. Their time together was filled with laughter, music, and fun. Her faith and family sustained her through her trials.
Sharon is survived by her parents, her husband and her eight beautiful children, Tytus Andrew (15), Elijah Steven (14), Tomas Gino (12), Enoc Michael (10), Sharon Blanca (8), Timothy Christopher (6), Isabella Lourdes (5) and Ethan Adrian (1); her grandmother, Blanca Herminia Ortega Murillo, her siblings, Karen (Mike) Reynolds, Gino (Ashley) Gallegos, Michael (Mallory) Gallegos, Christopher (Brenna) Gallegos, Adrian (Miranda) Gallegos, Angie (Jacob) Strawn, her parents-in-law, Steven and Jayne Adams, her siblings-in-law, Michael (Kimberly) Adams, Nathan (Shu-Fonica) Adams, Alisha (Saimone) Talevinukuleka, Amy (Kenneth) Noyce, Annie (Brian) Hopkins, Charlie (Pamela) Calderon, Julie Calderon, Tony (Alma) Calderon, and 20 nephews and 14 nieces.
