Of Sacramento, California passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 8, 2022 at 6:01 am. Steven was born July 22,1952 in Flint, Michigan. Steven was a highly skilled carpenter for over 40+ years primarily building custom kitchens for those in the Sacramento area. He was a man of many talents,he valued education and was always learning. Other careers of Steve’s were an Optician, AutoCad Designer, and after retiring in 2015 he provided computer repair services. Steven was a simple man, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and all things outdoors with his family and friends. He loved wildlife, music, and an occasional beer & good food. He is proceeded in death by his parents Clifford Douglass and Patricia French of Flint, Michigan. He is survived by his sisters, Rhonda Boice of Leesburg, Florida, and Deborah Arline of Seattle, Washington. Son, Court Carlson of Marysville, California, daughter Melissa Carlson-Strand of Wyoming, Minnesota, daughter Gina Douglass of Missoula, Montana, and 7 loving grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Saturday June 18, 2022 @ 1:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 8505 Strong Avenue, Orangevale, California 95662. Masks will be needed during the service.
