Susan "Susie" Ann Walton

Fair Oaks, California - Susan Ann "Susie" Walton; beloved wife, mom, grandma and friend, will be missed greatly. She peacefully departed on July 16th 2022 at her home in Fair Oaks, CA, surrounded by her family. Susan always made time for others and put their needs ahead of hers. She enjoyed all types of music and people will likely remember her smiling. Susan was born in Redding, CA, on October 2, 1935. She grew up in Alturas, CA, and after marrying the love of her life, moved to Sacramento to raise their family. Susan was very social, enjoying a variety of activities, including her "book group," "dinner group" and back in the day "play group." She was frequently playing cards with friends and also enjoyed playing tennis. She is survived by her four children: Laurie, Denise (Mark), Mike (Jessica) and Megan and 8 Grandchildren: William, Scott, Grace, Sean, William, Tyler, Drew and Rylee. A Rosary Service will be held at Price Funeral Chapel (Citrus Heights) on August 1 at 5:30pm and a funeral mass at St. Mel Catholic Church (Fair Oaks) on August 2, 11am.
