Tammy Hughes, 59 of Fair Oaks, CA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. Tammy was a quiet person with the biggest heart. She found joy in her close group of family, friends, animals, and nature. Tammy was a compassionate soul who looked for ways to help others. She loved watching her grandchildren play and grow. As an animal lover, Tammy stepped in to care for every animal she encountered, from dogs and cats to guinea pigs, birds, and even a skunk. Tammy found peace in nature, loving its solitude and beauty. Tammy cared so deeply for those around her and will be forever missed by her family and friends. A private family service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. A celebration of Tammy's life will be announced at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial donations in Tammy's name be made to the SPCA or animal charity of your choice.
