Tara Mariko Nakashoji

Tara Mariko Nakashoji died unexpectedly on August 31, 2025 in Loomis, California at
the age of 40.

Tara is survived by her parents, Michael and Jan Nakashoji, brothers Aaron and Brian
and her two dogs, Luna and Sadie.

Tara was born on October 6, 1984 in Auburn, California. She lived in Northern
California all of her life. After graduating from Del Oro High School in 2002, she worked
a variety of jobs and then found her passion working with family in the mortgage loan
services as a loan officer assistant.

Tara loved to spend weekends either hiking or paddle boarding. Her dogs were the love
of her life and spent many Sundays on the paddle board with her. Tara accomplished
her goal to purchase her first home in Loomis. She took great pride in keeping the yard
well-manicured and the lawn mowed.

Tara will be in our hearts forever.

A funeral is scheduled for 10:00 am September 16, 2025 at the Newcastle Cemetery
District.
