Taylor Stout Jarvis was born in Fairfield, Iowa on April 18th, 1942 to Carl and Veramelia Jarvis. He passed away on March 4th, 2021 in Orangevale, California at Shearwater Residence. He grew up in Iowa and graduated high school in 1960. He entered the Army and served in the military for 4 years. After his honorable discharge from service he got in his car with $60 and headed for California. In 1966 he married Claudia. His only son was born in 1970. He started his own business, Taylor Made Sheet Metal and Construction in 1982, retiring in 2010. In 2014 Taylor and his wife moved to Orangevale, California to be near family.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Claudia and his son Taylor Jason Jarvis and wife KellyJo Jarvis. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Hannah Rose Jarvis 22, Micah Isaiah Jarvis 20, Ruth Noelle Jarvis 19, Grace Molly Jarvis 17, and AnnaJoy Jarvis 14, all living close by in Orangevale. His parents, Carl W. and Veramelia Jarvis, were hard working farmers all their lives. He has 3 brothers, Jon C. Jarvis and wife Lynda, Lane W. Jarvis and wife Donna, and his brother James Noel Jarvis who passed away previously. Taylor was a very friendly and fun loving man. He was a hard worker who believed in doing the job right the first time, doing most any job well. He loved fishing, hunting and camping. He will be greatly missed.
Taylor will be buried at the Veteran’s National Cemetery in Dixon, California. No Service is scheduled at this time.
