Thomas James Curran Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share our beloved Brother, Son, Father, Nephew, and Friend, Thomas James Curran, 53 of Citrus Heights, CA (originally from Pembroke, MA) passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on this day April 26, 2025, after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Francis Curran. Tommy is survived by his only son, Thomas Arthur Curran. Mother, Jane Curran; his siblings and their spouses: Cathy Curran (and her wife Tammy); Gail Hutchens (and her husband Sam); Michael (and his wife Hope); and Christopher Curran (and his wife Kate). And his nieces and nephews: Mekayla, Alexandria, Teresa (Tess), Caleb, Lilly, Lukas, and Kailynn. Along with his stepmother, Sue, and extended family. Tommy also leaves behind several aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends.

Tommy lived a gratifying life, Spreading and sharing his infectious laugh and endless search for adventure. Tommy formed many ‘brotherly’ friendships from PPH to all the others he encountered; leaving footprints on the hearts of those who spent even a minute with him. Tommy had too many attributes to list, but a few the family and friends would confer on: His love for his family, big hearted, happy-go-lucky, life of the party. Tommy enjoyed an abundance of activities: an avid snowboarder; golfer, camping, herbology, he was adventurous, loved to travel and partook abundantly and enthusiastically at numerous music festivals and concerts.

Tommy was also a member of the Canyon View Assembly Congregation, where he highly respected, and valued the support of Pastor and friend, Greg.

Tommy leaves an imprint that will encompass all our hearts.

A GoFundMe has been set up by Tommy's family for his son.
