Trevor Delbert Ramsey was born on June 12, 1983, in Sacramento, California. He tragically passed away on July 13, 2024 after suffering a massive stroke on July 4, 2024. Trevor was only 41 years of age.

Trevor is survived by his four daughters: Maya, Amelia, Naomi and Heidi, his loving fiancé: Taressa “Tessa” King, his parents: Randy & Gretchen (Wilkerson) Ramsey, his siblings: Benjamin (Ranae) Ramsey, Sebrina (Carlos) Rodriguez and Tabor (Allison) Ramsey, his nieces and nephews and many loyal friends and extended family members.

Trevor graduated from Del Norte High School in June of 2001. He earned his Associates Degree from College of the Redwoods in May of 2003. Trevor then served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Philippines, Naga City from September 2003-2005. Trevor is fluent in Tagalog. After marrying his first wife, he worked as a Baker for Safeway in Crescent City, California and at Panera Bakery in Sacramento, California. Trevor loved to bake! Later Trevor followed in his dad and brothers’ footsteps and graduated from the Department of Corrections Academy in June of 2008. Trevor was assigned to work at Pelican Bay State Prison and has worked there for that past sixteen-years.

Trevor will be remembered for his humor, infectious laugh, and his extremely generous heart. Trevor loves his girls so much and has been a fabulous father to them. A little over a year ago, he met the love of his life, Taressa “Tessa” King. She brought love and light into his world and loved him completely and unconditionally. The void left behind from Trevor’s passing is so large, it is truly hard to comprehend. We will forever love you Trevor, until we meet again….

A memorial service for Trevor will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Crescent City, California. Price Funeral Chapel (916-725-2109), directors.
