Troy Lee Northrip

Troy was born on May 4th 1948. Son of Troy and Wanda Northrip. He was the Eldest son, Brother to Billy, Stacy and Mark.

Troy went to serve his country at the age of 18 in 1966. He spent 20 years in the service. Retiring a Sargent first class in 1986 in the United States Army.  

In 1968 Troy met his first wife Charlene Margret Jensen, they were married in February of 1968. On September 13 1968 they were blessed with their eldest daughter Renee Elaine. Renee describes her dad as a very loving and kind man. He was very affectionate and had a big heart. She remembers her childhood being filled with a lot of joy and love from her father. You could say she was a daddy's girl being the only daughter of Troy.

In 1972 Troy met his second wife Kathleen Ann Louie, they were married in October of 1973. On July 11, 1974 they were Blessed with Troys oldest son Troy Lee Jr. Troys fondest memory of his father is how much he enjoyed going to get his morning coffee. They would sit together and talk about life and everything else under the sun. He loved taking drives threw the orchards and insisted on stopping at every fruit stand along the way. He loved exploring new places and was a wandering soul.

In 1984 Troy met his third wife Kathy Lyn Foster, they were married in April of 1985. On July 24, 1985 they welcomed their son Travis Edward. A year later on October 13,1986 they were blessed with the youngest son Dustin Lee. Travis remembers when he was 16 his dad took him on a road trip. The two of them drove together to Reno, they spent the day exploring hot august nights. Travis remembers this as one of the best days with his father. Dustin’s fondest memory of his dad was when he coached his little league baseball team as a child. He then later spent time living in Texas with his dad, during which they lived through and survived a massive hurricane together.

Troy Lee Northrip was born on May 4 1948 son of Wanda and Troy Northrip. Troy went home to the Lord, Jesus Christ on Saturday April 10, 2021.

In 1966 at the age of 18 Enlisted into the United States Army. Retiring a Sargent first class in 1986 after spending 20 years in the service.

He leaves behind his Children Rene Elaine Smith, Troy Lee Northrip Jr. Travis Edward Northrip and Dustin Lee Northrip. His siblings Billy, Stacy and Mark. His Grandchildren Joseph, Joshua, Midori, Alexia, Travis Jr, Pyper and Deacon and Great grandchildren Adrien, Jaxson, Sasuke, and Keshad. As well as multiple Nieces, Nephews, Son and Daughter in laws, extended family members and friends.

Services will be held on Tuesday May 4th 2021 to honor the life of Troy at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon CA.
