Vicki Reynolds Obituary

Vicki Lee Roberts Reynolds, born on July 24, 1945, in Reno, Nevada, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on June 27, 2026, in Sacramento, California, after a courageous battle. She was surrounded by her devoted husband and loving children who remained by her side until the very end.

Vicki was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and devoted her life to serving the Savior and those around her. Throughout the years, she faithfully served in many Church callings, including Relief Society President, Young Women President,  Early Morning Seminary Teacher, Service Missionary, and in Compassionate Service Leader. Her quiet acts of kindness, unwavering testimony, and Christlike love blessed countless lives and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

On April 26, 1968, Vicki married the love of her life, her high school sweetheart,  James D. Reynolds, in the Salt Lake Temple, where they were sealed for time and all eternity. Together they built a home centered on faith, love, service, and family, creating a legacy that will continue for generations.

Vicki had a remarkable gift for making people feel loved through both her talents and her generous heart. As a young woman, she worked as a beautician and found joy in helping others look and feel their best. She was an exceptional baker who lovingly created beautiful wedding cakes for countless couples, making their special day even more memorable. She also loved baking for family and friends, making warm blankets that became treasured gifts, and finding simple, meaningful ways to serve those around her.

One of her favorite pastimes was staying connected through heartfelt phone calls, always checking on others, offering encouragement, or simply letting them know they were loved.

No act of kindness was too small for Vicki. She had a special way of making every person feel important, cared for, and deeply loved.

Above all else, Vicki's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, great grandma, and a faithful friend. She is survived by her beloved husband, James; her children, Kristi (Mark) Weber, Kimberly Rivera, Darren Reynolds, Melanie (Marcus) Villiers, Paul Reynolds, and Clay (Heather) Reynolds; and her cherished grandchildren: Jarrod (Courtney), Connor (Aliyah), Carlee, Katrine (Michael), Jocelin, Nathan, Emily, Julia, Aiden, Aubrey, Camron, Baily, Even, Jenna, and Lexi. She is also survived by her brothers David Roberts and Steven Roberts (Susan Roberts) and brother in law Gary Salvini.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David William and Inez Olsen Roberts, and her sister, Patricia Salvini.

Vicki will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous heart, candid thoughts, witty humor, infectious laugh, and unconditional love. She lived a life of service, always placing the needs of others before her own. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel seen, valued, and loved, and she gave freely of her time, talents, without expecting anything in return.  Her kindness, lively spirit,  and steadfast testimony of Jesus Christ blessed countless lives.  She made the world brighter for everyone around her.

She is deeply loved and will be dearly missed, but her example of faith, compassion, and selfless service will continue to inspire all whose lives she touched.

While her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in knowing she has been joyfully reunited with her beloved mother, sister Pat, and  her dear friend Rita, and many loved ones who have gone before her.
